This is probably one of the more interesting guitars to come out from Fender in 2016. The limited edition American Standard Offset Telecaster is an incredible blend of Telecaster and Jazzmaster that looks great, sounds killer and plays like an absolute dream.
The Jazzmaster Body
I never quite thought about the Jazzmaster as an offset Telecaster but when you look at it, it does make sense. The body is heavily carved for comgort and sits wonderfully in your hands both standing and sitting. While it may be a bit of an alternative looking design it is very ergonomic and sounds just as good as the standard Tele body.
Quality Woods
While the Jazzmaster body is made out of Alder the Telecaster 25.5" scale neck is made out of all Maple with a modern carve that any Tele player will know and love by this point. This combination of cuts and tonewoods gives you the same Telecaster sound that the name suggests but with a different kind of body feel that maybe the more alternative guitar lovers will enjoy.

Originally conceived in the Custom Shop, the Limited Edition American Standard Offset Telecaster is an incredibly distinctive hybrid of a Telecaster and Jazzmaster.
